"Finally. I've always wondered why this didn't exist already." — Pro Dunker
Jump higher using your Apple Watch
Become more explosive. Track jump height, power, and asymmetry anywhere using just your Apple Watch.
Just strap to your ankle and jump on the surface you already play on. No force plates, jump mats, or cameras required.
Fast motion capture
Lab-grade accuracy
Consistent results
"The Jumpable app provides the convenience and ease of use that conventional jump measurement devices do not. The user/athlete can benefit greatly from the consistency and frequency over any period of time in an athletic or return to play situation and most importantly, it saves time! I would recommend anyone interested in this to give it a try."

High-fidelity jump measurements are no longer limited to the pros.
Our goal? Help you crush your goals, wherever you are in your training or rehab journey.
Recovering from injury?
Jumpable makes return-to-sport testing objective: baselines, milestones, left/right asymmetry, and exportable curves to share with your clinician.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why measure jump?
Vertical jump height is the gold standard for explosive-power testing. Pro teams, Olympic coaches, and rehab specialists rely on it because it exposes lower-body strength, neuromuscular coordination, and injury risk in a single, objective metric.
How does Jumpable work?
Our patent-pending ankle placement technology positions your Apple Watch at an optimal biomechanical measurement point. The built-in motion sensors record high-frequency data, and our algorithms convert that into jump height, flight and contact time, reactive strength index (RSI), peak power, velocity, force, and rate of force development (RFD). Ankle mounting removes the motion noise that corrupts wrist readings, so you get lab-grade results.
How accurate is it?
Early benchmark testing against force plates yield vertical jump height measurements accurate to ~0.5 in. This is the same fidelity you'd expect from $20k lab equipment. We're running validation studies with university biomechanics labs so the metrics you see remain research-grade as we evolve.
Which Apple Watch models are supported?
Any Apple Watch with the S8 SiP or newer: Series 8, SE (2nd Gen), Ultra and newer models.
Can I share my stats with a coach or clinician?
Yes! Just tap the share button to send results directly from your Apple Watch. Each share includes a plain-text summary and a CSV attachment (available on Elite) containing power, velocity, force, RFD, and shank rotation curves in 3 axes to assess your technique.
How secure is my data?
Your jump metrics and history are processed and saved locally on your Apple Watch unless you choose to share them. To refine our algorithms we collect raw, anonymized motion-sensor data. This data set contains no identifiers, location, or health records and cannot be traced back to you or your device. We never sell or share data with advertisers.
Do I need a special strap?
The Apple Solo Loops detach and wrap around the ankle. If your ankle is over 200 mm (~8 in), we recommend an aftermarket sport band for a snug fit.
Do you take feature requests?
